Curious seniors on a discovery tour at Hellings

On Wednesday 9 July, it was pleasantly busy at Hellings: we welcomed a group of about thirty interested senior citizens from Sint-Oedenrode for a company visit. We kicked off the afternoon in a relaxed manner with coffee and something tasty, and soon the first conversations started about what goes on behind our company gates.

Many people know our company from the outside, but have no idea of the world behind it. By opening up that world, we make technology tangible and show the pride with which we work.

Managing Director Harm van der Pol gave an accessible presentation about who we are and what we do. The seniors then went on a discovery tour of our company, accompanied by colleagues Tom, Paul and Marco. They got a glimpse of our processes, techniques and way of working together and asked plenty of questions, which we were happy to answer.

We believe in giving attention to what matters: our people, our craft, and the world around us. A tour like this fits perfectly with that philosophy. It is a form of connection that gives us energy. We rounded off the visit with a tasty treat and a refreshing soft drink. A small gesture, but completely in line with how we work: with attention to people and a genuine interest in the world around us.
