Safe lifting course

Working safely is always paramount at Hellings. That is why we continue to invest in knowledge and awareness in the workplace.

On 10 December, colleagues from assembly, production and the warehouse attended the safe lifting course. The training was provided by an instructor from the Occupational Health and Safety Centre and was entirely focused on working safely and responsibly with lifting equipment.

The morning focused on theory. This included discussion of the correct working method, possible risks and the safe use of various lifting equipment. In the afternoon, what had been learned was immediately put into practice in the assembly hall. Under supervision, colleagues practised handling a range of situations drawn from everyday working life.

It was an educational day where safety and working mindfully were central.
