Official opening of the new workshop

The official opening was performed by alderman Johan van Gerwen. Afterwards, visitors had the opportunity to view the new workshop, attend demonstrations of the robots and learn more about robotics, programming and technology. We also provided guided tours of our company, giving visitors a look behind the scenes at Hellings. The open day also highlighted the remarkable development Neobots has undergone in recent years. What started in 2014 as a small LEGO robotics team has grown into a successful foundation with several teams participating in national and international competitions. The Neobots teams are now among the best in the Netherlands and are also achieving great results internationally. We are proud that Hellings can contribute to this further growth. By making a new workshop available, Neobots is given the space to continue its activities and to inspire future generations to embrace technology and innovation. Technology plays an increasingly important role in our society. That is precisely why we find it valuable that young people get acquainted with programming, designing, collaborating and building innovative solutions at an early age through initiatives such as Neobots. We look back on a very successful open day and wish all volunteers, coaches and participants of Neobots every success in this new chapter.
