Team Hellings cycles together to raise €7,677 for KWF

Some of our colleagues had never cycled in the hills before. Last weekend, eleven of them rode 150 kilometres through them for KWF. Together good for €7,677. The event: Limburgs Mooiste, a tough cycling tour through the Limburg hills with 2,300 metres of climbing along the way. Eleven colleagues from Hellings and Ronetic set off — nine on road bikes, two on mountain bikes – led by road captains Joost Leijtens and Bart Bekkers. For some of them it was their first time in the hills. Quite a challenge, but they all made it to the top. Colleague Ton Schoonus summed it up aptly: “Hats off to these colleagues. For inexperienced cyclists this is a real achievement.” For Hellings, this is exactly what it is all about. Not only coming up with solutions together during working hours, but also seeking each other out beyond work and committing together to something that matters. We are proud of these eleven and of the amount that will go to KWF thanks to them.
