Technical Warehouse Employee
Would you like to be more than just a warehouse employee?
You are indispensable in our logistics process. As a technical warehouse employee you make sure everything runs smoothly. No two days are the same; you ensure that the right technical parts and materials are in our warehouse and in the assembly hall at the right time. We are not just looking for a warehouse employee, but for someone with ambition. You start in operations to get to know our processes, systems and team inside out. From there we immediately look ahead and you have the opportunity to grow into the role of working foreman. As working foreman you coordinate the daily activities and are the point of contact for the team and the organisation.
What do you do as a technical warehouse employee at Hellings?
Your responsibilities include:
- Goods receipt & inspection: You receive incoming goods, check them for quality and then register them accurately in our system
- Technical preparation: You read technical drawings and pick the orders for our fitters based on them
- Logistics & forklift: You take care of internal transport, loading, unloading and storage using the forklift
- Warehouse management: You keep the warehouse organised, tidy and safe

- Hands-on; you have a feeling for technology and logistics and like to roll up your sleeves
- Communication; you communicate clearly and switch easily between engineering, purchasing and assembly
- Team player; you have a flexible attitude and enjoy thinking along with your colleagues
- Ambition; you want to grow and have the skills to eventually lead a team
- Technically skilled; you have a technical education (e.g. mechanical engineering) or relevant work experience
- Experience; you have extensive forklift experience and work safely
- Insight; you read technical drawings effortlessly
- Mentality; you are collegial, solution-oriented and take responsibility

In the position of technical warehouse employee, the salary indication is between €2,900 and €3,300 gross per month on a full-time basis
