Jens' internship period
After an educational and valuable period with us, Jens’ internship is coming to an end. During his internship, he focused on analysing and improving customer-oriented processes and thereby made an important contribution to the organisation.
Complete an internship and work towards concrete improvements: that was Jens’ aim during his internship at Hellings. There are various internship and graduation opportunities at Hellings, such as collaborating, researching or designing. Jens chose a research assignment focused on process optimisation.

The assignment
Optimisation of customer-oriented processes
During my internship at Hellings, I focused on improving the customer-oriented processes within the company. The aim was to create greater oversight, make responsibilities clearer and provide reliable information to the team.
I investigated where the bottlenecks were and worked out various solutions. For example, I developed a digital intake form so that customer data is recorded correctly, created a RACI model for a clear division of tasks and responsibilities, and made a plan for system optimisation and data cleansing. As a result of these adjustments, processes now run more smoothly and the information is more reliable.
The best part of my internship was working with colleagues to find practical solutions that really make a difference. This experience taught me a great deal about process optimisation, the importance of clear responsibilities and well-organised data.
